For those who are using Kingroot kinguser or Kingoroot superuser in giving root permission on their rooted Android device, today, we will be sharing how you can manually swap or replace it with SuperSU (by Chainfire) using a file manager. But first, we think it is necessary to let you know why you might consider applying what we are about to share on your Android device.

Rooting is one of the necessary procedure for gaining full access and breaking down the barriers to restricted areas in our Android device, giving us the ability to tweak systems files and programs on the device. While not-so-far ago there were "many' rooting apps that lets Android users to easily root their device in one click, the list has grown thin with each introduction of new Android version, leaving us with very few choices, the most popular ones being Kingoroot and Kingroot.

These two apps tends to root many devices and the firms (Chinese) behind these apps are working hard not to be trample upon like others in the past, but then, there was something negative about these two apps, and that is "they have their own separate superuser" in giving root permission. To ordinary (non geeky) users this may not be an issue, but it is to many folks out there especially for those who care about their privacy. It is just unpractical to let some Chinese folks guard the door to ones personal information considering the news that has been flying around for some time now.

"Kingoroot Superuser" and "Kinguser" as superusers of these apps are called, are explicitly different from the common SuperSU developed by Chainfire that many are familiar with. To root a device, Kingoroot and Kingroot needs to establish data connection as all the rooting are carried out in the cloud and are untraceable. The good news is most Android phones can be root by these apps, the bad news is the superuser installed by these two apps are ad-enabled, meaning, once the phone is rooted ads will begin to show on the phone screen whenever data is on. We found that of Kingoroot to be very aggressive and RAM consuming, and the worst part is the ads cannot be disabled unlesss the phone is unroot.
